Carol has been CEO and Executive Director of 1736 Family Crisis Center since 1984. Under her leadership, the agency has consistently identified emerging community needs and developed programs to meet them, touching more than 20,000 people a year. Carol is an active advocate, having been elected chair of the City of Los Angeles Domestic Violence Task Force for six years, having served on the Advisory Board of Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) for three years, and being part of the County of Los Angeles Domestic Violence Council since its inception. She has provided consultation to state and federal offices and elected officials regarding domestic violence and other pertinent subjects.
