Outpatient Skills-Based Clinics

1736 Family Crisis Center’s outpatient clinics provide skills-based therapy care and supportive services for our clients and Los Angeles County residents.
The agency provides intensive counseling and services to crime survivors, children with emotional and behavioral issues, and other individuals in need. The clinics provide services for up to six months in length (or as needed on case-by-case basis). Licensed therapists, qualified staff, and clinical interns in training offer care under a clinical supervisor. Staff provide individual and family counseling, parenting classes, and support ongoing groups with childcare provided onsite. Groups operate Monday night from 6:30-8pm. Potential clients interested in our services at the Torrance Center are asked to call our main office number and leave a message for a therapist, who will then call them back within two business days to assess need and provide referrals if needed.
