Pablo R. Escobar, Esq.
Pablo R. Escobar, Esq. serves as Director of Client Legal Services and Assistant to the CEO for Special Executive Assignments at 1736 Family Crisis Center. Since joining the agency as a staff attorney, Pablo has built extensive experience in legal advocacy, nonprofit operations, client services, and executive-level organizational support. In 2019, he assumed leadership of the agency’s Client Legal Services program, where he oversees legal services, supervises staff and volunteers, supports compliance and quality assurance, and helps ensure that clients receive trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and legally sound advocacy.
Pablo brings more than 16 years of experience in domestic violence and family law, including matters involving restraining orders, divorce, paternity, immigration, special education, disability rights, court representation, and client advocacy. His work has included supervising attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, interns, and volunteers, as well as mentoring students through co-teaching at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Education.
In addition to his legal services leadership, Pablo supports the CEO and executive leadership team on special projects involving agency operations, strategic communications, compliance, staff accountability, government and funder relations, and organizational problem-solving. He is fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish and has completed California state-mandated 40-hour trainings in sexual assault and human trafficking advocacy.
